The International Center for Relativistic Astrophysics Network (ICRANet) organizes the Sixth Zeldovich meeting, an international conference in honor of Ya. B. Zeldovich, which will be held in Pescara (Italy) on July 13-17, 2026. This conference will follow a series of international conferences in honor of Ya. B. Zeldovich. The previous meetings were held in 2009, 2014, 2018 in Minsk, where Zeldovich was born in 1914. In 2020, the meeting was held in ICRANet Pescara (online) and in 2023 in ICRANet Armenia in Yerevan.
Ya. B. Zeldovich and his school, addressed a wide range of topics ranging from chemical physics, elementary particle and nuclear physics to astrophysics and cosmology. In this spirit, a large number of traditional and new topics will be covered during the conference:
- Observations of Sunyaev-Zeldovich effect and its cosmological implications;
- Gamma-Ray Bursts, Neutron Stars, Black Holes;
- Little Red Dots, Quasars and Dark Matter;
- Multimessenger Astrophysics;
- Hubble tension;
- Black Hole mass energy formula and the role of the irreducible mass;
- The Belinskii-Khalatnikov-Lifshitz (BKL) episode in Black Holes; and Cosmology;
- Quantum, Gravity and the role of Planck mass.
The registration fee will be:
- Early bird regular fee: 300 Euros (up to April 30, 2026)
- Late fee: 450 Euros (after April 30, 2026)
- Early bird reduced fee: 150 Euros (applied to students and retired scientists, up to April 30, 2026)
- Reduced fee: 200 Euros (applied to students and retired scientists, after April 30, 2026).
The registration fee paid by participants is used to cover the conference costs, conference materials, and publication of the proceedings. Since we do not have external funds for this meeting, it is essential that registration fees are paid in full. We thank you for your understanding.

In case you cannot pay the registration fee or book your hotel with a credit card or bank transfer prior to the meeting, please inform us by writing to zeld6@icranet.org. You will be able to pay the registration fee in cash at the registration desk upon arrival. The payment should be made in Euro. If you need a hotel reservation, please let us know as well. However, keep in mind that you will need to pay for your hotel room upon arrival.
