The Fifth Zeldovich meeting, organized by ICRANet, is an international conference in honor of Ya. B. Zeldovich, which will be held in Yerevan (Armenia) on June 12-17, 2023. This event will also commemorate the 80th anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia whose Members gave equally fundamental contributions to the field of Relativistic Astrophysics.

The topics covered at the meeting will include:

• multimessenger astrophysics;
• early universe, large scale structure, cosmic microwave background;
• neutron stars, black holes, gamma-ray bursts, supernovae, hypernovae;
• gravitational waves;
• quantum and gravity.

The early bird registration fee is 300 euro (100 euro for students). The late registration fee will be 400 euro (150 euro for students). It will cover conference kit, coffee breaks, and publication of the conference papers. 

 

Information for participants from countries under sanctions (Belarus, Iran, Russia)

In case you cannot pay the registration fee or book your hotel with a credit card or bank transfer prior to the meeting, please inform us by writing to zeld5@icranet.org. You will be able to pay the registration fee in cash at the registration desk upon arrival. The payment should be made in Armenian drams according to the official exchange rate on the day of payment. If you need a hotel reservation, please let us know as well. However, keep in mind that you will need to pay for your hotel room upon arrival.

The registration fee paid by participants is used to cover the conference costs, which include the rental of the conference hall, conference materials, and publication of the proceedings. Since we do not have external funds for this meeting, it is essential that registration fees are paid in full. We thank you for your understanding.
