Zvartnots International Airport is conveniently located just 12 kilometres from Yerevan's city centre. Under usual conditions, the travel time to the city centre is about 20 minutes. There are several transport options available for this commute.
1) Hotel Ani Guests: The hotel offers an airport pick-up service priced at 10,000 Armenian Drams (approximately 24.40 Euros, based on the exchange rate as of May 19, 1 euro=410 Drams). Please contact the hotel by email: reservation@anihotel.com.
2) SIXT Car Rental: As a participant of the Fifth Zeldovich meeting, you can benefit from our special agreement with SIXT Car Rental (https://www.sixt.am). For a flat fee of 10,000 Drams, they will arrange for a driver to meet you at the airport with a sign and then take you directly to your hotel. To take advantage of this service, please contact them directly at limousine@sixt.am or +37496473366. Since June is a busy time of year, we recommend reaching out to them with your arrival details at least a week in advance to ensure car availability.
3) Taxi Services: Taxis are typically available at the exit of the arrival hall. Expect to pay around 4,000-6,000 Drams (roughly 10-14.60 Euros), but note that this could vary depending on the number of passengers and amount of luggage.
4)Airport Shuttle: An airport shuttle service is also available at the arrival terminal. The shuttle ticket costs 300 Drams (payable in cash) and the service runs from 07:00 to 22:00. You can find the shuttle route here: https://www.gpscontrol.ge/elitebus/
Important Advisory. Please be aware that, like at most airports, there are private taxi drivers who may attempt to overcharge. We recommend that you either avoid these services or ensure you do not pay more than 6,000 Drams for your journey to the city centre.
